A day in the life:
During class today, I loaded my nerf blaster and told my students that I had put a needle in the tip of one nerf dart. I proceded to ask for volunteers who would be willing to try for a free 'H1N1 shot' by their math teacher. What?? What's that you say? "What does this have to do with math?" It was a lesson in probability of course. It was hands-on and very interactive and I had everyone's attention. So there.

OK, but how was the Concert that made you so tired???
And, I am curious about the number of volunteers.... and what the school board would have done if you had given someone a "shot."
I must admit, none of my math teachers made math that fun....umm interesting would maybe be a better choice of words...
I like "fun" math. I wish you'd been my teacher!
btw, I think of you every time the Cisco/Ellen Paige commercial comes on about the field trip to China. Reminds me of your field trips to SE A.
